Why Worry?

We all worry.  Some of us worry a lot.  Some of us have a lot to worry about.  Whatever our situation, the Bible provides guidance to us.

For today, here are two thoughts on worry:  give them to God and worship more in place of worry.  God will help you if you trust Him.  Also, substitution is a tried and proven technique for putting one thought aside and replacing it with another one; a healthier one if possible.

Give God Your Worries

Give your worries to God and let him handle your problems.

Philippians 4:6  “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present your request to God.”  KJV

Give God Your Concerns

Worship more while worrying less.

Php 4:6  “Never worry about anything.  But in every situation let God know what you need in prayers and requests while giving thanks.  Then God’s peace, which goes beyond anything we can imagine, will guard your thoughts and emotions through Christ Jesus." KJV
